I first spoke to DAN BROOKS back in 2015, when he had to find a stair well with reception, in a small village, whilst he and his family were living in Italy! I remember we laughed because he’s spent a few days just trying to find a suitable spot to talk to me, and when he finally thought he’d found somewhere on a lovely balcony, suddenly a barrage of drilling and banging workmen appeared and made it unusable, ha, it was almost like the universe was trying to stop us connecting 🌞 But, thankfully, finally he found a spot in this stair well that was still unfortunately far from ideal, given that the builders noises were still audible, it was echoey and the reception was still not the best, BUT, we endured and I had a fabulous chat with him all those years ago which is still playing on my 24/7 RADIO STATION!
So, I decided, a shocking decade later, just before Christmas 2025, that it was time to catch up again and he would be a wonderful guest to have on my CRY FREEDOM CHRISTMAS SHOW! I wasn’t wrong, it was a great chat and this time the quality could not have been better, despite the fact he is still rather remote on the beautiful ISLE OF MULL in the SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS!
Many were busy for Christmas when I played it, so, I have extracted it from the show, to give others the opportunity to listen to the words of a great man, living with nature, knowing the ways that do in fact nurture us rather than take from us in every way!
