CFR ‘BACK TO BASICS’ SERIES (2018)

I will always return to this series with affection as it marks a very significant, if short, chapter in my life that happened just before the whole CONVID ERA, something I am grateful for as I don’t think it would have been much fun being essentially trapped in a place if the people around had been sticklers for the whole fear thing 🤔😉

This series was put out on the channel of my former friend and colleague, BEN EMLYN-JONES of HPANWO RADIO, who sadly is no longer someone I speak to much as we sort of fell out over something well over a year ago and despite myself apologising several times for probably saying something at the wrong time and in the wrong place in his chatroom, he did not want to reignite said friendship of over a decade, which still makes me sad, hey I’m an ARIES FIREHORSE and I say what I mean, I never usually regret what I say because I say it from my heart, but it has to be said I can be over passionate in the way I say it… I am what I am!

Anyway I was and am grateful to Ben for putting it out at a time when I did not have the resources to be able to do so, as I was to all intent and purpose, homeless, living in a caravan with no internet reception, I had to in fact visit the local library in Wrexham to be able to send them to Ben, I was so very grateful for that service at that time and it made me so appreciative of what community libraries give us and why it has been so very tragic and in fact a crime, to hear so many of them have been forced to close because the powers that be deem them not a total priority, whilst they spend our money, as always, on so much that is never for our benefit, proof, if ever it be needed, that they are not and never here for us!

Anyhow, I’m starting to go off on one now and loosing my thread 🤣😂🤣 bloody firehorse again lol… 

So, we’re now in February 2025 and so much has happened so far this year, things have also speeded up like never before, it’s passing quicker than I can ever remember, a week starts then ends in an eye blink, which may indeed be a good thing given that we are now at the point of change like never before, the storm and catalyst that is the whole TRUMP thing, is hitting big time and much is crashing down out there, including here in the UK, with bank branch closures and many other household name shopping chains leaving the high streets, the reasons why we can never be sure, I would like to think it’s because they have to go because they no longer serve us, mainly selling us things that far from benefit our wellbeing and health, and that we are now being given an opportunity for something better and more life sustaining for us dear ole pawns 😊 but we never really know do we, the most important thing, I feel, is to carry on striving for good and what we know will serve us greater, hence putting out again this BACK TO BASICS series recorded at that time that I really did live it!

In retrospect I can say that the bad times were hard but those amazing nature times I will never forget, waking up in that caravan and hearing the birds like never before, seeing the little rabbits running outside my window together with the deer walking past and feeling and knowing the elements like never before, that WAS pure MAGIC that I am so glad I got to experience… and hopefully will again! 🙏🙏🙏
